FromSoftware's open-world epic features many memorable non-player characters associated with their own unique questlines. Fan creations, like Malenia's winged helmet from Elden Ring, allow dedicated fans to cosplay as these beloved FromSoftware figures.

Among Elden Ring's huge roster of non-player characters, Ranni the Witch may be among the most mysterious. The supernatural figure first appears to give players the Spirit Calling Bell, allowing them to use the game's powerful Spirit Ashes, but the player is not properly introduced to her until they enter Liurnia's Three Sisters area. Upon meeting her in Ranni's Rise, Elden Ring players are given the opportunity to pledge allegiance to the witch and serve her throughout the rest of the game. Her questline is one of the longest and most involved in the game, and some claim that Elden Ring mistranslated the Ranni quest to make her goals seem more evil than intended.
