Elden Ring is almost here, making it three years since FromSoftware launched Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. If you had any doubts regarding the upcoming game's quality, fear not: it is as 'Mighty' as you'd expect it to be, or probably even better, judging by critic reviews.
In TheGamer's review, lead features editor Jade King gave it a perfect score, calling Elden Ring "a modern masterpiece that surpasses all expectations," which says quite a lot considering expectations were high to begin with. Fans of the Japanese studio will be delighted to hear the game "combines Dark Souls' natural sense of discovery with the foreboding atmosphere of Bloodborne, while perfecting this combination with a combat system that feels equal parts Sekiro and Demon's Souls."
