Elden Ring may be filled with numerous horrors, but one player has introduced a non-canon threat to The Lands Between: Lord Voldemort of Harry Potter fame. The robust and complex character creation system of FromSoftware's latest action RPG has allowed players to put together impressive and detailed avatars. Mods have further expanded the possibilities, with players using them to add iconic characters like Berserk's Guts and Darth Maul to Elden Ring.
Even without the use of mods, however, Elden Ring's character creation opportunities remain seemingly endless. Players have managed to replicate instantly recognizable characters like Gandalf and Ross from Friends in the game, utilizing numerous appearance options in conjunction with dedicated sliders to tweak and perfect faithful recreations. The process doesn't end with the character creation screen, however, as Elden Ring is filled with innumerable weapons and armor pieces that, when used correctly, can complete or elevate an in-game cosplay. Even certain attacks, spells, and Ash of War moves can be leveraged to bring a fan creation to life, making the avatar in question more believable and vibrant. A recent example of this would be the Elden Ring recreation of Bloodborne boss Father Gascoigne, which was taken to a new level thanks to nuanced integration of claw weapons, masks, and Beast incantations.
