However, while Elden Ring can be played alone, it holds a dedicated community of players ready to PVP or group up to help each other at a moment's notice. Using the Elden Ring summon feature, players can invite their friends to join on their adventure or draw enemies to their world for a fight.

Perhaps the most active part of the community for the game exists on Reddit, where players post videos and screenshots on a daily basis. These posts vary from memes to serious and helpful posts like one Elden Ring player teaching another how to parry. These posts serve to further bring the community together to bond over the game, and recently one player created a hilarious post depicting their Elden Ring character, who was none other than Kanye West.
Though the image is grainy, it is very clear who Reddit user Esacus has created in the character editor, as one can easily make the visual connection. Perhaps the funniest thing about the character is the implications that come with it. First, Kanye takes over rap, then he takes over as Elden Lord. Or, perhaps Kanye himself is a FromSoftware fan; surely he would want to play as himself, and this shows he could, given that he puts in the effort. Though seeing awesome builds like Elden Ring's Ichigo build are welcome additions, there's something special about seeing Kanye West of all people romping through the Lands Between.
