Like all FromSoftware games, Elden Ring is extremely challenging to play, but one modder went a step further and added exercise into the mix using Nintendo's Ring Fit controller.
As Eurogamer reports, well-known modder SuperLouis64 isn't new to Ring Fit adventures, having previously used the controller to play Dark Souls and Breath of the Wild. Now he's done the same for Elden Ring on PC, and the two-hour video below shows you exactly what that looks like (the real action starts 30 minutes into the video).
Character movement requires jogging, squeezing or shaking the ring activates combat, and squatting heals. And as you can see, it takes the already challenging gameplay to a whole new level and quite literally makes the player sweat.
Louis has released a Ring Fit Adventure Mod for Final Fantasy XIV in the past with a free download available and instructions on how to get it working. Hopefully he does the same for Elden Ring because others will want to attempt this, and we should always encourage more exercise in whatever unusual form it takes.
