The Limgrave Tunnels is a dungeon that you can tackle fairly early on in Elden Ring. It's an excellent first dungeon to practice your dodge rolls and acquire plenty of runes and lots of smithing stones in the process.

The Limgrave Tunnels can be found early in the game in West Limgrave and is one of the small dungeons well worth tackling in the area before you proceed to fight Margit. The tunnels entrance can be found north of the Dragonburnt Ruins, just above the shallow water where the area boss Flying Dragon Ahgeel lands.
Inside, you'll be confronted by many miners, some rats, and eventually the Stonedigger Troll boss. Follow our guide below to make it through the tunnels safely and come out alive with some great early-game rewards.
Limgrave Tunnels is generally a straightforward dungeon and won't take very long to progress through. The miners on the first level are very slow and predictable. They telegraph their pickaxe swings and can be taken out easily with melee or magic.
The miners in the cave path just before the boss are slightly more aggressive and deadly with long-range flame attacks, but there are not many of them to worry about. Overall, you shouldn't have too much trouble if you've already gained some levels and gotten to grips with your class.
Enter the dungeon through the small wooden passageway into a cave. You'll arrive at an elevator with a pressure switch in the centre. Ride the elevator down, and then move forward to touch the grace.
Moving forwards, the first Miner you'll encounter at the top of the wooden staircase won't notice you, giving you a prime opportunity to backstab. You can pick up a smithing stone from the ore he was mining in the cave wall.
