One of the most beautiful areas in Elden Ring is the massive Liurnia of the Lakes section located north of Limgrave, and one of the greatest hidden gems in Liurnia is the small town of Jarburg where the NPC named Jar Bairn can be found.
In contrast to many of the frightening creatures that can be found in The Lands Between, Jar Bairn is positively adorable, and speaking to them can be a welcome rest to the evil lobsters and sorcerers that populate Liurnia. To complete this quest, the Tarnished will need to complete the questlines of Diallos and Iron Fist Alexander. So, to save time, the Tarnished will ideally need to be doing these quests at the same time.

Jar Bairn is located in the small village of Jarburg, which is a place that can be very easily overlooked because there is no simple way to reach it. The closest Site of Grace to Jarburg is the Artist's shack near the Carian Study Hall. From here, the Tarnished can jump down the nearest cliff using stone platforms that will be right above Jarburg.
The next part of Jar Bairn's quest involves the Tarnished starting Alexander Iron Fist's quest; he can be found north of the Agheel Lake North Site of Grace in Stormhill. Once the Tarnished has spoken to him, they can travel back to Jarburg and continue to speak to Jar Bairn until they have exhausted all the new dialogue (this will be when they speak about poachers).
Progressing to the next part in Jar Bairn's quest will come in the mid-late game because it will require the Tarnished to reach Volcano Manor on the Altus Plateau.
