Elden Ring holds a lot of secrets, some that can only be found by going off the beaten path. Sure, the Guidance of Grace sends the Tarnished towards Stormveil Keep, but if you go the opposite way you will see something enticing – a gigantic island just barely far enough away that Torrent can't make the jump.

There is another way to get to this island, which is home to more than Elden Ring's beautiful vistas and cute wildlife. At the top of a hill is the Church of Dragon Communion and a place of offering. Here, Dragon Hearts can be offered in exchange for unique spells, but you have to get through a dungeon and boss first.
Dragon Hearts can be earned by defeating a number of bosses throughout Elden Ring. In Limgrave, players get one Dragon Heart after defeating Flying Dragon Agheel, found just to the right of the first Site of Lost Grace where Varre stands. Bringing a Dragon Heart to the Church of Dragon Communion lets players choose one of three Incantations to add to their combat repertoire.
Dragonfire is an Incantation that channels Flame Breath in a surprisingly wide area, breaking past most blocks. Dragonclaw drags gigantic dragon claws along the ground to swipe at foes. Lastly, Dragonmaw is an extremely strong bite attack. Each of these Incantations costs different amounts of FP and requires relatively high Faith and Arcane attributes.
Head to the beach immediately below the First Steps Site of Lost Grace and look for a dark cave in the cliff wall (it's easy to miss).
