Talismans in Elden Ring function just like Rings from other FromSoftware games. They are equippable items that give players some kind of a benefit, and Elden Ring has an absolutely massive variety of Talismans for players to mix and match.
Hidden Secrets Many Still Haven’t Found In Elden Ring
Marika's Soreseal is a Talisman found extremely late into the game that can be a gigantic boon for Sorcery and Incantation-oriented builds. Like other Soreseal and Scarseal items found throughout Elden Ring, Marika's Soreseal increases stats by a flat amount.
Marika's Soreseal essentially gives players an extra 20 levels, but they don't come without a cost. In exchange for having a +5 bonus to Intelligence, Faith, Mind, and Arcane, players take 15% more damage from all sources. Because this Talisman doesn't increase Vigor or Endurance for better armor, it's a big trade-off.
Marika's Soreseal is one of two Soreseals in Elden Ring — the other, Radagon's Soreseal, provides the same buff for the other four stats instead. There is a weaker version of Marika's Soreseal called Marika's Scarseal, which increases damage taken by 10% and gives +3 to the same stats. These two Talismans can't be equipped at the same time.
Marika's Soreseal is found in the end-game area Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. To get here in the first place, players must go to the Consecrated Snowfield after completing the Secret Haligtree Medallion, then head to the northernmost point to find a town trapped in an Evergaol. «Beating» this Evergaol unlocks a passage to the Haligtre.
Descend down the uppermost branches and continue through this expansive zone until you reach the Prayer Room Site of Lost Grace. Head towards the Erdtree Avatar and drop down onto a room below at
