An Elden Ring modder has set up a fight between Godfrey and the Fire Giant, resulting in a truly epic wrestling match. FromSoftware's open-world soulslike title boasts a huge collection of bosses, some optional and some mandatory, each with their own unique lore and moveset. Shortly after launch an Elden Ring mod let Malenia and Radahn fight, mirroring the godly duel in their backstory, and now Godfrey and the Fire Giant can go toe-to-toe too.
Godfrey and the Fire Giant are two of the last bosses in Elden Ring, with both playing a key role in the action role-playing game's cryptic story. Towards the end of the game players are tasked with reaching the Forge of the Giants, but this ever-burning flame is still protected by the last remaining Fire Giant. Meanwhile, Godfrey was once a mere warrior who, through his strength and eternal thirst for battle, earned the hand of Queen Marika and the crown of the first Elden Lord. Godfrey is also the first Tarnished, and his second Hoarah Loux boss phase reveals that he still desires to be a simple warrior.

A recent YouTube video from Sora uses mods to face Godfrey and the Fire Giant against each other in Dragonlord Placidusax's arena. The epic clash pits Godfrey's strength and speed against the Fire Giant's massive size, with the first Elden Lord taking a beating early in the duel. However, Godfrey gains new attacks as his health drops, letting him injure the Fire Giant enough to trigger its second phase. This less mobile version of the colossus then triggers Godfrey's transformation into the lightning-fast grappler Hoarah Loux.
