Motorola has carved out a solid share of the premium smartphone market in the US and beyond, but it's had less luck with its flagship and sub-flagship devices. The new Motorola Edge 40 Pro, announced today, has all the makings to be a contender in the flagship space.
Whether it can go head-to-head with the likes of the Google Pixel 7 Pro, OnePlus 11 5G, and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra remains to be seen. Motorola packs some impressive rear cameras into the phone. There's a 50MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and OIS, a 50MP ultrawide/macro camera at f/2.2, and a 12MP portrait lens at f/1/6 with a 2x zoom factor for blurred backgrounds. The selfie camera captures
