EA has unveiled the new match day experience that’s coming to FIFA 23.
Hypermotion replays, the pre-match build-up and more have all received an update.
For the first time in the series, female officials will make their presence known in Ultimate Team, Pro Clubs and single-player modes.

EA has said that “new audio will build the energy and anticipation ahead of the biggest games, lifting the match atmosphere and drama of title clashes, six pointers, cup finals, and more.”
New augmented reality replays and overlays will provide a more stylish display of data in-game such as expected goals, shots on target and passing percentages.
Crowds have also received a makeover, with high levels of detail, and a more diverse pool of character models to populate arenas.
The in-game camera has also been updated which aims to replicate a TV broadcast with shallow depth of field and smooth motion.
Players can now listen to in-game music during matches, rather than commentary, and a whole host of new post-goal effects have been added such as sirens, buzzers, animal noises, and more.
EA recently announced that FIFA 23 will be released on September 30, 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Stadia, PS4 and Xbox One.
FIFA 23 Legacy Edition, which will be released on the same date for Switch, won’t offer any of the new gameplay features or modes included in other editions of the game.
