It seems that Dying Light 2: Stay Human is in the midst of some sought after changes. As one of the most anticipated open world zombie games of this generation, Techland is seemingly knuckling down to make improvements to what is considered a pretty good sequel that's somewhat lacking in certain areas, especially the main story. Given that, many fans have been clamoring for some additional content to flesh out the world, and the developers have provided further details about the upcoming DLC.
In a recent interview with WCCFTech, Tymon Smektała, lead designer for Dying Light 2, confirmed that the first major DLC the studio is currently working on will run alongside the game's main story. They go on to say that it will be possible for players to start the new content «right after Aiden arrives in The City,» and the DLC will center around a particular area outside of Villedor's limits. Not much else was said about this DLC's story, but there have been numerous speculations.

Smektała says that of all the rumors they've seen about the new content, no one seems to be close with their guesses. Techland has hinted that Dying Light 2 DLC will surprise people, with Smektała reiterating such sentiments. It remains to be seen what exactly the studio has in mind, but many who have been following the game's progress will no doubt be keen to check it out. Currently, the new content is scheduled for release some time in June.
