Dying Light 2 developer Techland recently responded to one of the game's more common glitches, though unfortunately, not many fans are finding the response very helpful. The open-world post-apocalypse adventure was released earlier this month to a mostly positive reception, although concerns have been raised over the game's bugs and performance issues, particularly on consoles.
Techland's return to the world of Dying Lighthas been highly anticipated by fans of the cult-classic 2015 game since its announcement a few years ago. The original Dying Light was heavily praised for its meticulously detailed world and atmosphere, but mainly for its advanced movement mechanics and moment-to-moment gameplay. While most players have been happy to report that these positive qualities have returned better than ever, things aren't going as smoothly when it comes to the game's technical state. One of the more worrisome and frustrating glitches that players are dealing with has been called the «death loop» bug, which causes players to get stuck in an endless loop upon dying during certain missions.
