GOG has announced that it will be supporting the developers who pledge to donate money made from their games to Ukrainian causes. For the next week, GOG will donate its share of profits from Slipways and This War Of Mine to the Ukrainian Red Cross, just as its developers are doing.
While the developers will be donating their own share from the sales on any platform, GOG is the first storefront to announce that it will be matching this. This comes as dozens of figures in the gaming industry announce their own plans to show the people of Ukraine their support, with studios both indie and triple-A taking action.

GOG initially made the announcement to the press yesterday evening, initially just covering This War Of Time.
"Following 11 bit studio's decision to donate all their profits from the sales of This War Of Mine and its DLCs, on all stores and platforms for the next 7 days, we have decided to support their action and we will be donating all profits from our shares of the sale of the game on GOG to the Ukrainian Red Cross as well", the statement reads.
The storefront then followed up with a further announcement, once Beetlewing pledged to do the same with its game, Slipways. The update said that it would be doing the same with this game, donating its cut to charity until March 3. This would suggest GOG intends to match the efforts of other developers who make this move.
It's worth noting that this isn't the only charitable step that GOG's owner, CD Projekt, has taken. Yesterday, it announced that it would be making a donation of one million PLN (roughly $240,000 USD) to the charity Polska Akcja Humanitarna.
