Popular internet game Wordle has struck again.
The Tuesday edition of the New York Times five-letter word puzzle has frustrated fans with its solution with many users lose their winning streaks with its choice of word.
Words such as brink, awful, and homer are all words that have caused confusion in the past, but Tuesday's solution of Droll on Wordle 374 has angered fans, with some saying the word was too uncommon for a Wordle challenge.
"Wordle 374 X/6 Failed today cause I never heard the word! Perils of being a non-native speaker!" said one player who blamed their lack of vocabulary.

"Wordle 374 X/6 Your thoughts & prayer are appreciated at this difficult time. I will be taking some time to consider my options. I won’t be making any further public comment," another said.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO My streak Send flowers and chocolate. I’m heartbroken. Wordle 374 X/6," said another user who was unhappy with the word.
For those of you unsure what droll means – the dictionary says "something or someone that is droll is amusing or witty, sometimes in an unexpected way."
The game Wordle exploded in lockdown with many sharing results not solutions across social media.
The daily game gives players six chances to guess a randomly selected five-letter word.
