Horses are the simplest type of mount, so we'll review those first! You'll get a horse right after talking to Master Dennet and can work your way to a cooler mount from there.

Harts are horse-sized horned animals that look a bit like very dramatic, pretty deer. Don't confuse Harts with Halla, which are white deer-like creatures most often seen with elves, since Dalish clans raise them, forming close bonds with the animals and using them to pull their aravels.
