Dragon Ball Shows Now Streaming on Crunchyroll For The First Time
Crunchyroll has announced that Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GTwill all be available to stream effective immediately. Dragon Ballis considered to be one of the most popular anime franchises of all time, gaining fans from different backgrounds from all over the world for nearly four decades. Starting as a highly ranked manga series by Akira Toriyama, the franchise has evolved to span across four television series, 20 feature films, and even a good number of video game titles. The many series and films follow the fan-favorite Goku at different phases in his life as he tries to save Earth from a collection of cosmic villains who want to see it destroyed.
On Tuesday, Crunchyroll released a trailer to announce that Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GTare now available to stream on their platform in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Previously only available on Funimation, the three series join Dragon Ball Superon Crunchyroll for the first time ever. Both the English dubbed versions and English subtitled versions are available for Dragon Balland Dragon Ball GT, but Dragon Ball Zcurrently only has the English dubbed version.

This announcement has come off the back of the news that Crunchyroll and Funimation would be merging together in 2022. While some new shows will still be streaming on Funimation, a majority of their content library is expected to move over to Crunchyroll in the near future.
