In the days following Hogwarts Legacy's first gameplay preview, Avalanche developers shared footage of a glitch that causes a Centaur to fly and flail about during one the game's combat encounters. Avalanche and publisher WB Games showcased a first look at Hogwarts Legacy gameplay during a nearly 20-minute PlayStation State of Play broadcast last week. The extensive preview showed off several segments, from classroom activities and outside exploration to combat and story-focused teases.
Unsurprisingly, the gameplay reveal quickly drew comparisons to Rockstar Games' Bully. Instead of studying science, though, those who jump into Hogwarts Legacy will find themselves enrolled in Divination, Charms, and Defense Against the Dark Arts courses. The deep dive from Avalanche additionally featured a few glimpses at exploration, with iconic locales like Hogsmeade sitting front and center for a time. Of course, there were some aspects of the open-world experience that did not make the cut for Hogwarts Legacy-dedicated State of Play livestream.

A recent post from the official WB Games Avalanche Twitter account calls attention to a peculiar bug the team ran into while editing Hogwarts Legacy's gameplay trailer. The hilarious glitch takes place during an intense combat encounter, wherein the player character dukes it out with a couple of wizards. Two Centaurs participate in the battle as well, though one, in particular, has a little more fun than everyone else.
