The following are the names and release dates of the Doctor Who 60th Anniversary specials:
All three specials will first drop in the United Kingdom on BBC One and will then be available to stream on BBC iPlayer. The episodes will also drop on Disney Plus in the United States and the rest of the world shortly after.
David Tennant, who played the Tenth Doctor on Doctor Who between December 2005 and January 2010, will take on the role of the Fourteenth Doctor for the first time. He will be joined by both returning cast members who will reprise their roles from Doctor Who, such as Catherine Tate’s Donna Noble and Jacqueline King’s Sylvia Noble, and new cast members such as Yasmin Finney’s Rose Noble and Neil Patrick Harris’ Toymaker.
The story of the three specials will see Tennant’s Fourteenth Doctor and Tate’s Donna Noble try to solve the mystery of the former’s uncanny resemblance to the Tenth Doctor while also trying to stop the machinations of Harris’ Toymaker.
