The trailers and teasers for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness continue to reveal some of the variants and chaos that Strange, Scarlet Witch and more will come across, and one of the most intriguing Strange variants is Sinister Strange, who has been revealed to have a third eye – but what are the powers of this? The Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently in its Phase 4, which covers both movies and TV shows and is exploring new concepts, the main one so far being the multiverse and its many dangers.
The multiverse has been teased in TV shows and it was explored deeper in Spider-Man: No Way Home, where Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) unintentionally opened the gates to the multiverse, and even though they closed them before major chaos was unleashed, there will be serious consequences. These will be explored in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, where Strange will travel into the multiverse to face a mysterious new adversary and in the process will come across some of his multiverse variants, along with those of his ally Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).
