In every biome in Disney Dreamlight Valley, there are many resources that players can gather. The rarity of each resource varies greatly, but none vary anywhere near as much as gems. Not only do they spawn inconsistently from rocks, but gems often share spawn points. So even if Disney Dreamlight Valley players get a gem to spawn when mining, there is no guarantee it will be the one they want.
As a result, it can be difficult to obtain certain gems. This guide will show players where to find Emeralds, and with a bit of luck, they will have no trouble getting some.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Get Early Access
Emeralds are not gems that are found early on in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Just like with Iron Ore, players won't be able to encounter them until they have unlocked a few other biomes in Dreamlight Valley. The two biomes that Emeralds can be found in are the Glade of Trust and the Forest of Valor. Of the two biomes, it is highly recommended that Disney Dreamlight Valley players unlock the Forest of Valor first.
Players should keep in mind that half of Glade of Trust is blocked off by large patches of mushrooms, and it will take a very long time before players are able to get rid of them. Forest of Valor also has some roadblocks, but it does not take anywhere near as much time to unlock the upgrade for the Royal Tools that allows Disney Dreamlight Valley players to remove them. When hunting for Emeralds, players should look for rocks along the walls that have gems sticking out of them like thorns. These rocks drop a guaranteed gem, and if they are green colored, then it is a guaranteed Emerald.
