While the Nintendo Switch version of Disco Elysium has been quite popular since it launched, there have been a few things that could be improved. A brand-new update released by developer ZA/UM addressed several issues, but the company is especially highlighting a performance upgrade for the Disco Elysium version for the Nintendo Switch.
Disco Elysiumarrived on the Nintendo Switch in the form of the Final Cut version of the game. That version added quite a few features to a title that was already considered quite good. Alongside new collectibles and zones, voice acting was included in the game for the first time. Since the Final Cut was released, the developers have continued tweaking and adding on with the latest update being released for all consoles titled the Jamais Vu update.

Officially announced on the Disco Elysium Twitter account, the Jamais Vu update brought new features to the Switch, PlayStation and Xbox consoles, but it appears the biggest change is just how much faster the game runs on Nintendo's console. Along with the tweet announcing the new update, the developers posted a short video comparing the load times on the Switch, showing that the new version seems to speed up the performance by as much as 25-30 seconds.
This is hardly the first time a Switch game has gotten an update that sped up its performance. It wasn't that long ago that Fortnite upgraded how it plays on the Switch compared to how it performs on both the Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
