Digimon Survive Walkthrough: Part 2
Digimon Survive's second part catches up with Shuuji, Saki, and the Professor, showing what they've been up to since they were separated from Takuma and the rest of the group in the prologue and also introducing some new Partner Digimon.
In this second part of Digimon Survive, players are also offered plenty of chances to recruit new Free Digimon to their team, including easy access to Gazimon, Numemon, Biyomon, and Betamon. The chapter also introduces some more Partner Digimon evolutions.
Part 2 opens with Saki, Shuuji, and the Professor fleeing from monsters in the thick fog of the woods, encountering Lopmon and Floramon along the way. Floramon and Lopmon were also being chased by Gotsumon, and the Professor is downed by a fierce attack while defending Saki. The Professor tells Saki and Shuuji to leave him and run, and they reluctantly do so.
Takuma wakes and heads outside for some air, running into Agumon outside the school building. Takuma recaps the events of the previous day withoccasional interjections from Agumon, and then the conversation turns to Takuma's thoughts on other things. This presents the first choice of the chapter, which can boost a Karma stat based on the chosen option.
Afterward, Takuma and Agumon go to talk with the others about their plan. After saying good morning to the others, the discussion turns to who's in charge, and then to the topic of rescue. Aoi makes a valid point, stating that there's no sign of a search party. Ryo interjects with his depressing opinion that they're all done for, and Minoru theorizes about time travel, parallel worlds, and superweapons, and seems weirdly excited about this adventure they've found themselves on.
