Digimon Survive has switched development teams and a release date is still being adjusted internally.
It's been a rocky couple of years for Digimon fans waiting for information on Digimon Survive. Despite being announced back in 2018, the game has seen numerous delays in recent years and has gone long stretches of time without any new information. Sadly, the latest batch of news isn't a particularly positive one.

As reported by Gematsu, Digimon games producer Kazumasa Habu spoke about Digimon Survive's development issues during Digimon Con 2022. He said, “In response to our call for inquiries, we’ve received a number of questions regarding the development status of Digimon Survive. We’re very sorry for keeping you waiting even though you’re looking forward to it. We apologize again for not providing any new information and/or keeping you waiting. We sincerely apologize for the delay."
Habu continued, explaining why Survive has gone so long without any information, “As we’ve already informed you, once we postponed the release due to a change in the development team, and that we are now developing the game with a new development team. Changing teams has led to a lot of rework on the game, leading to delays. This has caused a lot of uncertainty that prevented us from giving regular updates. However, thanks to the efforts of the new development team, we are now able to be back on track, getting closer and closer to the completion of the game."
Finally, Habu confirmed that the team isn't sure on a release date at the moment as they're still adjusting it internally, “As for the release date information, it is expected to take a little longer as we’re still adjusting
