It's safe to say that Digimon Survive has had a troubled development history. First announced in 2018, the game was then delayed in 2019, then COVID happened, and then it got delayed again in 2021. Just recently, we found out the reason for all those delays wasn't just due to the pandemic, but also because Bandai Namco recently swapped the game's development team.
But with all that turbulence, Bandai Namco is still dead set on releasing Digimon Survive, and they're willing to produce a new teaser trailer to prove it. The trailer doesn't really tell us anything we didn't already know about the game's story, but it does show some of the first hints of Digimon Survive's gameplay.

A survival strategy RPG, Digimon Survive tells the story of a group of high schoolers on a camping trip where they get transported to an alternate reality full of Digimon. Just like in the show, each character teams up with a Digimon to protect each other from all the bad Digimon that just want to eat them.
You can see in the trailer that the player's phone will play a key role in displaying the world map, while the combat takes place on an isometric grid. Conversations are in the typical visual novel format, while the trailer itself seems to convey the game's animatic art style.
Just last month, Digimon games producer Kazumasa Habu talked of Digimon Survive's development problems at Digimon Con 2022.
