The 2020 remake of Destroy All Humans! preserved the original game's chaotic gameplay while recreating its graphics to meet modern standards. The upcoming sequel will remake 2006's Destroy All Humans! 2, which introduced new features like new weapons to wield and a co-op multiplayer mode. A recent preview of Destroy All Humans! 2 — Reprobed reveals that the upcoming remake will bring back these beloved mechanics while adding new features like character skins and saucer customization.

A new trailer for Destroy All Humans! 2 — Reprobed, posted to YouTube by publisher THQ Nordic, puts a focus on the remake's couch co-op mode. The original version of the game introduced this multiplayer feature, but the sequel's modern remake will adjust the visuals of the split-screen mode. Both players now share a single mini-map, which is located in the bottom left corner of the screen. The top right corner, meanwhile, displays the alien duo's objectives.
