Back in Destiny 2's Beyond Light expansion, if you wanted to unlock the Stasis subclass on all three of your Guardians, you had to essentially replay the campaign three times. It was a fine campaign, but there were certainly parts that wore on way longer than they should. Bungie eventually lowered the requirements for unlocking Stasis Fragments and Aspects to help with the grind a little, but there are some Guardians out there who still don't have Stasis unlocked on all three characters.
That will change in Lightfall. As announced in yesterday's TWAB, Bungie is introducing a new type of character booster that will let you skip the Lightfall campaign, provided you pony up some silver.

In Lightfall, there will be two character boosters instead of just one. The first will be the regular level-based character booster that already exists in Destiny 2. That's the one where you can pay 200 silver to get your side characters up to the soft level cap. The second is called the "Lightfall Campaign Skip Boost," and this one will let you pay to skip replaying the Lightfall campaign in order to unlock the new Strand subclasses on your off-mains.
Note that you won't necessarily get a level boost on your off-main Guardians using this skip unless you've also hit the soft level cap on your main. Bungie notes that you'll also be skipping all the rewards you'd receive for doing the campaign, such as items and upgrade materials, and you won't get any of the associated triumphs.
