As Destiny 2's servers come back online, players can expect a queue that gets lengthier depending on the platform they play the game on and several PlayStation fans are reporting issues connecting.

Bungie warned Destiny 2 players about today's maintenance for the Witch Queen ahead of time and expressed the need for maintenance in preparing the massively multiplayer FPS for the expansion's release. Destiny 2's Season of The Lost concluded with today's maintenance as fans waiting in queue anticipate new content brought to the FPS with Season of the Risen, which began today alongside Witch Queen. Upon launching Destiny 2 after today's maintenance, players will have to update the client with patch 4.0.0.1, which offers free Season of the Risen content next to the paid Witch Queen DLC.
The file size of update 4.0.0.1 depends on what platform the player is on. The update notably runs about 74GB on PS4.
