Because there are so many gameplay elements to check when it comes to Destiny 2 and the changes that Bungie makes with sandbox patches, it's not uncommon that some things break in the process. A great example of this is Telesto, which has undergone a lot of changes over the years because it's one of the most unique guns in the whole game, and thus it creates interactions that no other weapons can. Another example is what happened with Radiant Dance Machines, an Exotic that was introduced at the very beginning of Season of the Lost.
Radiant Dance Machines became popular because of how powerful its interaction with mods like Dynamo and Distribution was when Destiny 2 Hunters could Dodge several times in a row. In fact, slotting mods like Dynamo twice makes for a lot of Super energy gained whenever players use their class abilities, and with Radiant Dance Machines' ability to grant 4 to 5 Dodges back to back, Super generation became trivial. On the other hand, each Dodge would also reduce the cooldown of all abilities through Distribution, making for a game-breaking combo that got Radiant Dance Machines nerfed soon after.
