Metamorphosis is a Lost Sector in Destiny 2 and is located in the Miasma on Savathun's Throne World. The activity is in the Legend and Master Lost Sectors rotation, offering a chance to earn exclusive Exotic armor for solo completion. The Legend Lost Sector comes with the Scorched Earth modifier, making enemies throw grenades significantly more often. Master difficulty adds Attrition, greatly impairing regeneration, but defeating enemies has a chance to spawn healing wells of Light. There are also a number of traits that both versions of the activity share.
