K1 Communion is one of Destiny 2's many Lost Sectors and can prove to be a challenge for unprepared Guardians. The activity is part of the Legend and Master rotation, granting an opportunity to earn some exclusive Exotic armor. The Lost Sector is full of evasive Fallen enemies and equipment is locked, so players should plan accordingly. K1 Communion is located in the Anchor of Light region of the Moon destination.
Inside, Guardians will encounter Barrier and Overload Champions, both of which should be dealt with as soon as possible. Players in season 17 can bring either a Sidearm or a Pulse Rifle to handle the former. The Exotic Linear Fusion Rifle Arbalest is an alternative, as it inherently comes with the Anti-Barrier perk. For Overload Champions, Guardians have the option of bringing an SMG, Auto Rifle, or Trace Rifle. Similar to The Conflux Lost Sector in Destiny 2, K1 Communion has a Solar Burn that increases the Solar damage dealt and received by 50%. Bringing a strong Solar Rocket Launcher to quickly take out the agile Fallen is recommended. Additionally, some enemies in the activity will have Void shields.

K1 Communion features the frustrating Arach-NO! modifier on Legend and Master. This makes Fallen Vandals spawn a web mine at their feet when defeated. Luckily, Guardians have a brief moment to shoot and destroy the traps, before they create a disruption field.
