Destiny 2: How To Complete The Solstice Event Card

The annual Solstice event will commence on July 19 and end on Aug. 9 in Destiny 2, and a new feature called the Event Card is being introduced that can be completed for Solstice-themed rewards. Once every season, Guardians have the opportunity to explore a seasonal event hosted by Eva Levante that will allow them to earn rewards centered around the event's theme. While the Event Card is being introduced during the Solstice event in Season of the Haunted, it will become an integral part of future seasonal events as a way for Guardians to easily keep track of goals and activities that can be completed.

Once Solstice begins, the Event Card will become immediately available and is free for all players to complete. Solstice event challenges, unique rewards, and new Seals and Titles to unlock in Destiny 2 are all features that will be kept track of on the Event Card next to the Seasonal Challenges tab. After the Solstice event ends the associated challenges and rewards will disappear, and such will be the case for any future events and Event Cards as well.

While the Event Card and its associated activities will be free for all Guardians it can be upgraded for 1,000 Silver, the premium currency of Destiny 2. Upgrading the Event Card will immediately earn players an Exotic reward bundle, and further rewards can be unlocked by spending an in-game currency called Event Tickets. Unlike the types of rewards in Destiny 2 earned through Twitch Prime bundles, these particular Solstice rewards are only available during the event's duration.
