Darth Vader Is Officially Outmatched by Star Wars' New Superweapon

Star Wars has revealed a new superweapon capable of stopping Darth Vader in his tracks that is surprisingly effective against the Sith Lord. In Star Wars: Darth Vader #24 by Marvel Comics, Vader goes on a mission to kill a governor working alongside the Crimson Dawn. However, when Vader attempts to take them down, he's hit with a blast from a new weapon much stronger than he could have imagined.
Darth Vader is violently making his way through the Crimson Dawn, attempting to destroy the organization trying to end the Galactic Empire's rule. To do so, Vader has teamed up with Padme's former Handmaiden, Sabe, as both are eager to end the Crimson Dawn's mission to gain more power in the galaxy. After meeting with Sabe on Gabredor III, the pair agree to take down a corrupt governor working with the Dawn. However, Darth Vader quickly finds out that the organization he's trying to eliminate is armed with powerful weapons that even surprise him.

In Star Wars: Darth Vader #24 by Greg Pak, Marco Castiello, Carlos Lopez, and VC's Joe Caramagna, Darth Vader and Sabe attack the corrupt governor working alongside the Crimson Dawn. But, when Vader reaches her, they unleash a superweapon against him, as a high-tech cannon shoots a blast of energy, stunning the Sith Lord. Vader is left unable to move as the Crimson Dawn celebrates stunning their powerful enemy. Ochi of Bestoon, in the act of redemption, ends up taking out the forces, saving Vader and Sabe.
