Hulu's new thriller, No Exit (now streaming), stars Havana Rose Liu as Darby, a woman waiting out a blizzard at a rest stop en route to a family emergency. While there, she learns a girl has been abducted and is trapped in a truck in the parking lot. Darby then tries to uncover who the culprit is. Among the film's cast are Danny Ramirez and David Rysdahl, who play two of the suspects: Ash and Lars.
Screen Rant spoke with Ramirez and Rysdahl about their experience making the film, what drew them to their characters, and much more.

Screen Rant: This really was awesome from start to finish, I was just completely hooked. What drew you most in when you read the script? What was that moment?
Danny Ramirez: First of all, all the surprises, the twists, the turns, but most importantly, the depth of character and the layers that it really required, and knowing that all six of us, really, we stood in each other's way. Everyone stood in everyone's way to get what they wanted and only one person was gonna walk out of there truly able to accomplish their goal, whatever that might be. Everything hinged on the other. The performance elements of it always had to be this free-flowing thing, where what everyone did directly affected who you are as a person. It was a beautiful 'everything was tied together' piece of art that I was just really inclined and excited, especially after I talked to Damien [Power] about it and how much emphasis he put on layering these characters, and making them real and empathizing with them. It wasn't just this stereotypical kind of thriller. It has all the classic, amazing elements of it. But then, it also brought in so much soul into a soulless place, really.
