The Challenge: All-Stars 3's Cynthia Roberts sat down with the Most Likely Two podcast after her elimination and revealed that she would like to do The Real World Homecoming: Miami next. Cynthia debuted on The Real World: Miami at 22 years old where she became a fan-favorite for her portrayal as the doe-eyed, charismatic everywoman with relatable reactions to her outlandish roommates, who were far more self-aware during filming. Originally unfamiliar with the franchise, she was cast for both The Real World and Road Rules and given the choice of what show she'd like to participate. Cynthia exuded an authenticity that would lead Bunim/Murray Productions to call her back to participate on the first Challenge called Road Rules: All-Stars in 1998.
Miami has the distinction of being the first season to have the cast "work together" in the title sequence after it was revealed they would have 12 weeks to come up with a business plan in order to receive a $50,000 grant. In The Real World's season 5, episode 7, «America Needs Underwear,» Cynthia began to develop a stronger business regimen by cold calling potential designers to help them start a fashion line, saying, "And what would be in it for you all is a negotiable retainer, royalty in all sales and a possibility for continued involvement within sexual--I mean, successful business venture." Unable to keep it together, the Challenge alum burst into laughter as whoever on the other line had already hung up the phone.
