When V isn't busy killing gonks, sharing banter with Johnny, or zooming through the neon streets in a flashy vehicle, they might want to indulge themselves in one of 's romance options — but sadly, some characters aren't worth going the extra mile with. Although they're each well-written in the game's overarching universe, and they stand out among the crowd in Night City, the romance arcs with the following characters remain rather unimpressive in comparison to others. Players are better off pursuing other options (or even simply pursuing leads from their fixers, instead).
There aren't many romantic options for V in to begin with, which only adds to the issue. The DLC, which will release sometime in 2023, will hopefully include new options for players to explore. If not, there are several existing characters who should've been romantic options, who would greatly benefit from having their stories fleshed out in the upcoming expansion. But those most in need of attention are the game's worst romance options, who leave a lot to be desired.

Unfortunately, if V accepts, they'll be met with a romance that doesn't do much for them (besides prove why business and pleasure should never be mixed).
