Plimbo the sailor is the NPC that resides in this secretive little cove, and although it seems as if he's alone, there are a few other small and secretive residents in this quiet sanctuary that the Lamb can encounter.
The Lamb will first meet Plimbo during a random encounter in the dungeon of Anchordeep. He'll tell the Lamb that he has some unique and rare items available for trade and resale, and he'll mark the place on the map so the Lamb can visit after they emerge from their Crusade.
Cult Of The Lamb: What To Do At Midas's CaveAnchordeep is usually the third Crusade on which the Lamb embarks, and it's mostly about spending gold in either coin or bar form. This isn't a place to find raw materials, even to buy, but the Lamb can collect Divine Inspiration from Plimbo's small shrine after everything else is sold out.
There aren't any resources to be found in the Sanctuary, like seeds or wood, unlike other locations. By this time the Lamb should have a decent-sized cult and a fair amount of money to spend.

Don't be deceived by how lonely this place looks. There's more here than just Plimbo and his pirate ship fish. Many creatures, great, small, good, and evil, are lurking in the dark shadows of the Sanctuary. The Lamb has to visit at certain times of the day to find them all.
