Being an asymmetrical horror game, Dead By Daylight has quite a lot of licenses from different horror series. The license was released in the game as the fourth year anniversary chapter, bringing Pyramid Head and Cheryl Mason to the game. Lisa Garland and Cybil Bennett were also released along with the chapter, bringing in a lot of Silent Hill fans to try out the game.
Cheryl is a caring, empathetic, and impulsive individual who went by the name Heather before. She lost her father and also got involved with some cult activities. When she tried to turn her life around, her past came knocking at her door, dragging her into the fog of Dead By Daylight.
She brings three special perks to the game that can be unlocked on every character after upgrading her to prestige three. These perks are Soul Guard, Blood Pact, and Repressed Alliance.
Soul guard is one among many perks that grants survivors an Endurance status effect. Whenever you or your teammate pick you from the dying state, this perk grants you Endurance for eight seconds.
Further, if you have a Hex symbol on your screen, you can pick yourself up infinitely.
If you get hit when you're injured and have the Endurance status effect, you are put into a Deep Wound state instead of the Dying state.
This allows you to not go down, but you'll have to mend before the yellow bar before your name runs out.
