After being pulled from Steam, a cult classic RPG from Obsidian, has been made available again on PC. Originally released in 2010, Obsidian's espionage RPG saw players assuming the role of Michael Thorton, a talented young agent cast out by his government with the information needed to stop a global catastrophe. As with many of Obsidian's RPGs, players could take different approaches to objectives, with their actions having severe consequences.
had a «Very Positive» review score from 4710 players on Steam, with one of the last reviews left calling the game "", but was pulled from the popular game launcher in June 2019 due to the licenses of several music tracks used in the game having expired. Fortunately, after almost five years, GOG.com took to X to announce that the title would be returning to PC via their store.

GOG partnered with Obsidian Entertainment and SEGA directly to revive. The new release was intended not only to ensure that the title was brought back to PC players, but to make sure that the new experience playing the game was better than ever.

GOG has been a strong supporter of the preservation of games over the last 15 years, having previously worked with LucasArts, and being responsible for bringing several Konami titles back to PC. This showed the process of reviving 14 years after its initial premiere. This interview also contained interviews with the game's creators, as well as the team at GOG.com, and serves as a strong reminder of the importance of game preservation.
