Crypt of the Necrodancer and Cadence of Hyrule developer Brace Yourself Games has announced a brand new game set within the Cryptodancer universe. Unfortunately, we weren't given a potential release date as the title was only teased at the end of a DLC announcement trailer, but Brace Yourself does mention to stay tuned for more info, hinting that a more in-depth reveal could be just around the corner.
As for the first game, the trailer also showed off some of the new content for Crypt of the Necrodancer. The Synchrony DLC brings a bunch of new features to the game almost five years after it was last updated. Three new characters called Chaunter, Suzu, and Klarinetta have been added as well as several new modes. For the first time, Crypt of the Necrodancer now has online co-op and competitive modes, the latter of which supports up to eight players.

The DLC has also added full mod support, a bunch of new weapons, items, spells, and traps, as well as several new enemies to fight. The DLC is available right now in Early Access on Steam and will only set you back £4.67 until August 11. On the Steam page, Brace Yourself Games explains that the reason it is launching the Synchrony DLC in Early Access is so it can gather community feedback, something it did for previous DLCs and the game itself.
