Gambling streams have been a controversial topic on Twitch over the last few weeks, especially in the wake of an admission by the streamer Sliker that he scammed his audience out of thousands of dollars in order to help pay his gambling debts. That admission has started a bit of a chain reaction that saw the Amazon-owned site attempt to take action so a situation like Sliker's wouldn't happen again.

In the wake of the ban, streamers like xQc have come forward and admitted they knew gambling streams were «wrong.» But that doesn't mean that everyone is in agreement. Kopf seems to be leading the charge against the ban and warning that Twitch is going to far by naming certain sites and services that can't be discussed on its platform.
Kopf went on her own live stream and said that if Twitch can ban gambling streams, it won't be long before the site starts to take action against other «unhealthy» habits. She then went on to blame the «softness» of certain Twitch viewers for the site putting the kind of measures in place it has since the gambling streams started getting so much negative attention.
