Kat Dennings, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor co-star, shares a heart-warming picture of the two on embracing on set. Dennings starred in the first two installments in the Thorseries as Darcy Lewis, a character intended to act as light-hearted comic relief in films that were often more dramatic. Darcy is a scientist who worked with Natalie Portman’s astrophysicist Jane Foster, who together were two of the first humans that Hemsworth’s Thor met when he was expelled to Earth.
Since her appearance in Thor and Thor: The Dark World, Dennings' character has featured in the Disney+ MCU shows WandaVisionand What If … ?. The character didn’t appear in Thor: Ragnarok, however, or either of Avengers: Infinity Warand Avengers: Endgame. Unlike Portman’s Jane Foster, who will be returning to the MCU in a major role, Darcy is not expected to appear in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder.

Now, in a post shared to Twitter, Dennings releases a throwback image of her and Hemsworth together. The photo was presumably taken during the filming of the first or second Thorfilms, with Hemsworth holding Dennings in a friendly embrace. The image is accompanied by a caption stating that, upon finding the photo, the actor “almost cried.” Check out the original post below:
