Hollywood star Chris Evans, aka Captain America of Marvel Cinematic Universe films, can’t let go of his old iPhone 6s. The muscular star bid adieu to his iPhone 6s over a month ago as Apple stopped supporting it, and he moved on to a new iPhone 12 Pro. However, Evans says he still misses the home button on the handset. Evans opened up about his fondness for the iPhone 6s home button that Apple dropped from the iPhone lineup after the iPhone X, in an interview with Collider (via iMore). The actor was doing a press tour for his Netflix’s $200 million+ spy flick The Gray Man. Not only that but he also talked about his newer iPhone 12 Pro being heavy. The actor doesn’t seem happy with his bulkier iPhone 12. As reported by Collider, Evans himself confirmed that his new phone is an iPhone 12, whose cameras show it's a Pro model. Considering that Captain America is a big, tall man, and has a reputation to protect as a tough man, it is strange that he should find the iPhone 12 Pro heavy. What would he say if was handed the quite bulky iPhone 13 Pro Max?
Well, be that as it may, the story is that Evans bid goodbye to his iPhone 6s after Apple announced that it was killing off a few older models including iPhone 6s due to their software limitations. The smartphone manufacturer has unveiled a new iOS 16 version last month, and the same has already started rolling out to beta testers. But iPhone 6s, iPhone 7, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7 and a few other older models didn’t get this software update. With no choice left, Evans penned a long note as he moved from his old iPhone 6s to a new iPhone. The step has been taken due to the hardware limitations of the camera, or the chip inside these iPhones.
