Trinity Valley Community College athlete Angel Rice was one of the standout stars of Cheer season 2 and fans have been wanting to learn more about her ever since the new season premiered. After mostly focusing on the students and coaches of Navarro College on Cheer season 1, Netflix expanded season 2 to also include rival school Trinity Valley. Meanwhile, Navarro College newcomer Maddy Brum stole the scene in season 2, as did all the new cast members from Trinity Valley. For example, the show introduced new fan-favorites like TVCC coaches Vontae Johnson and Khris Franklin, as well as athletes De'Vone Johnson, Jeron Hazelwood, and Angel Rice. All things considered, the introduction of these new cast members battling it out between two rival schools made Cheer season 2 even better than season 1.
