The news that Xbox is acquiring Activision Blizzard is still very fresh, with publications all across the industry trying to wrap their heads around it. A blockbuster purchase if there ever was one, Xbox will soon have full rights to Crash Bandicoot, Call of Duty, Warcraft and many other high quality franchises, all for the tune of about $70 billion. Fans of Xbox will surely remember its previous landmark acquisition when it bought out Bethesda and incorporated its library into the Xbox first-party family. With Activision Blizzard joining Xbox, all of its very talented developers will begin working for Xbox, helping improve the company's brand and industry control.

Twitter user and Xbox enthusiast Klobrille has made a very clean chart showing off Activision Blizzard's place with the Xbox first-party studio family. Under the umbrella of Xbox's general first-party collection are three main groups: Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and of course, Activision Blizzard. Included with Activision Blizzard are nine studios, most of which have worked on the Call of Duty franchise in some capacity. These studios are Call of Duty Vanguard's Sledgehammer Games, Treyarch, Infinity Ward, Raven Software, High Moon Studios, and Beenox.
