Fans of Chainsaw Man have another reason to be excited, as a new 200 page one-shot from series creator Tatsuki Fujimoto was just announced. While Chainsaw Man'ssecond partmay still take some time to come back, another project is in the works. According to a recent post from the editor of the manga Shihei Lin, Fujimoto is set to release a 200-page one-shot issue of the manga on Monday, April 11, 2022.
Chainsaw Man follows the trials and tribulations of young Denji, an otherwise normal teenager forced to pay the debts of his deceased father as a devil hunter. When Denji is killed in serving those debts, he is saved by his pet Pochito, a supernatural being known as a devil, who in a prior incarnation was known as the Chainsaw Man, the most feared of all devils. Pochito transforms himself and becomes Denji's heart. Once combined, the Chainsaw Man is reborn as Denji's alter-ego. Found out to be in possession of the Chainsaw Man, Denji attracts the attention of Public Safety Devil Hunter Makima, another devil who desires to partner with the Chainsaw Man. The series instantly garnered instant acclaim upon release. While fans may await the series' continuation, they can whet their appetite with a new one-shot from the series' creator.

In a tweet but Chainsaw Man editor Shihei Lin, a new 200 page one-shot by Fujimoto was announced. The one-shot releasing on April 11th will be made available by the manga's publisher Shueisha via its website and Shonen Jump+ app. No word has been given yet on the possibility of an English translation, though given the popularity of Chainsaw Man and the fact that Fujimoto's last one-shot, Look Back, was translated,
