A new trailer for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet has arrived, and with it comes a slew of new details and reveals. Among those reveals are three more Pokemon that will be introduced to the series via gen nine. Ceruledge and Armarouge, who can be seen battling in the trailer below, and a massive crab Pokemon called Klawf.
The newest crab Pokemon to join the series almost 1000-strong Pokedex is first shown as trainers attempt to fend off, and potentially catch, a number of them. It joins Pokemon's crab ranks alongside the likes of Kingler and Corphish, and may well have some sort of connection to the latter. A giant Klawf then falls from a cliff face, seemingly activating some sort of boss fight. Perhaps inspired by the noble boss battles in Legends: Arceus, but here it appears to be referred to as a Titan Pokemon.

In fact, they appear to be duking it out on behalf of trainers in a traditional Pokemon battle, as well as battling wild Pokemon in a few shots too. Their designs also make them appear to be paradox Pokemon. A new feature added via Scarlet & Violet in keeping with the theory that the new games' story will be rooted in time travel.
Scarlet's theme being inspired by the past and Violet's by the future also seems to be incorporated into the new Pokemon's designs. Armarouge's helmet and armor make it look like a traditional knight, whereas Ceruledge looks far more sleek and futuristic. It has also been revealed Armarouge is a fire/psychic type, while Ceruledge is a fire/ghost type.
