CEO of Warframe Developer Digital Extremes stepping down
Founder of Digital Extremes James Schmalz announced today he intends to step down as CEO of the company. The current Chief Creative Officer Steve Sinclair will assume the CEO duties effective immediately. Sinclair is a 24-year veteran at Digital Extremes. Schmalz will remain on the board of directors to offer insight and guidance to the company moving forward.

If you’ve watched any big Warframe event stream or attended Tennocon, you will be familiar with Steve Sinclair. As Chief Creative Officer, he’s been front and center through the development of Warframe and is currently leading development on Soulframe.
