Big Brother viewers will get to know Teddi Mellencamp on Celebrity Big Brother season 3 and want to find out what led to her getting fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2020. Back in 2017, Bravo fans were introduced to Teddi as a newbie on RHOBH season 8 alongside veteran cast members such as Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, and Lisa Rinna. She had never been featured on RHOBH before, but Teddi showed some potential during her first season on the show.
Teddi stayed on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from season 8 to season 10, so her very last time on the show was back in 2020. In 2021, Teddi made a guest appearance on RHOBH season 11 but was no longer featured as a regular cast member. Now that CBB fans will get to know her better in season 3, many want to find out what happened behind Teddi's firing from The Real Housewives.

According to The Sun, Bravo producers fired Teddi from RHOBH because «the network [was] not impressed with her performance on the show.» The source also noted that executives had «considered cutting her last season but gave her one last chance.» In response, Teddi revealed in her podcast Two Ts In A Pod that she was completely blindsided by her firing from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She talked about receiving a flood of messages from friends asking if she was okay and subsequently texting her manager to find out what was going on. «So your contract is not getting renewed as a Housewife,» she was told on the phone.
